We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our great home state and release the first coffee of our Barrel Aged Series!
First, the green (unroasted) coffee beans are introduced to the barrel. Then, our team removes samples and tastes them throughout the aging process. When the flavor profile is just right the beans are removed from the barrel and roasted to a light/medium level. The resulting cup is sweet and clean with a smooth whiskey aroma and finish.
This coffee is only offered in the 12oz whole bean variety in order to preserve the unique flavor characteristics created during the barrel aging process.
